We are the Hopkinton Town Band and coming up: we have 2 special concerts planned for you!

On July 26 we’ll present a special program of World War I tunes in commemoration of the centennial of the United States’ entry into WW I.  All of our music for this concert are vintage 1917 arrangements that one might have heard 100 years ago at war rallies and community events around the state.   Come on down and sing along with us to tunes such as “Over There,” “It’s a Long, Long Way to Tipperary,” “Pack Up Your Troubles in Your Old Kit Bag and Smile, Smile, Smile,” and hear John Philip Sousa’s “Liberty Loan March” and the original version of “Alexander’s Ragtime Band.”

This concert is our contribution to “Over There-Over Here: World War I and Life in NH Communities” in conjunction with the Hopkinton Historical Society–Here’s a link to their site:

Friday, July 28th – Beech Hill Farm & Ice Cream Stand – Come on down for some ice cream and a concert called “HTB’s Greatest Hits – Volume 5” – we will be playing all our favorite fun music at this annual gathering and promise a rip-roarin’ good time.

Come on down and hear your very own town band!
